Our story
A niche London law firm with deep community roots.
Miya Solicitors was founded by six solicitors who recognised the need for a niche law firm capable of serving both the local and wider community in a highly accessible way, with lawyers who can speak directly to clients in their own language.
We offer a full range of legal services across personal injury, clinical negligence, immigration law, family law, housing disrepair and wills and probate. Our clients come from every corner of the United Kingdom and from many different backgrounds and ethnicities. Where it helps, we are able to arrange home, hospital or workplace visits. Our offices have excellent transport links and are fully accessible to those with disabilities.
Each client is highly valued and treated as such, no matter how large or small their legal problem. We aim to make the legal process simple and easy to understand so that the experience is as straightforward as possible during what is often a stressful time.
We are not part of a corporate body and are proud of our independence. The firm is a team of more than thirty colleagues who together speak numerous languages and include many highly experienced solicitors, several of whom have specialised in their fields for over twenty years.

Sefaret Yaman and the founding partners launch Miya Solicitors in London with a focus on personal injury and accessible legal advice.
